Discontinuation of the Unikura Marketplace Feature

Thank you for using Unikura.

We will discontinue the Unikura marketplace feature on Friday, October 30, 2026. The Unikura protocol itself, however, will continue to operate.

What will end

New listings, browsing, and purchasing of collectibles.

What will not end

The Unikura NFTs (ownership NFTs) you hold remain valid as before, and you can continue to redeem them and have your items shipped.

We have no technical means to invalidate, freeze, or recall issued Unikura NFTs. The smart contract's administrator privileges do not include functions such as burn or pause that would allow the operator to control assets, and issued ERC-721 tokens remain permanently on the blockchain. This will not change after the service ends.

In addition, the following operations will continue:

1. Storage of physical items: Collectibles linked to Unikura NFTs will continue to be stored by VELVETT PTE. LTD.
2. Redemption (receiving your physical item): Accepted with no deadline. As before, burning your Unikura NFT initiates the shipping process for the physical item. The redemption page will remain available after the marketplace closes.
3. Service fees: The service fee set out in Article 6.3 of the Terms of Service will not be charged. Accordingly, storage will not be terminated and ownership will not be transferred to us under Article 6.4.
4. Hosting of Unikura NFT metadata and images will continue.

How to redeem and ship your physical items

You can continue to submit requests through the shipping request page as before.

Shipments to customers outside Japan are handled via Tenso.com. All international shipping arrangements, shipping costs, customs duties, and related charges are the customer's responsibility. For customers in Japan, we ship free of charge.

The benefit attached to the Unikura Membership NFT was a limited-time discount on your first purchase, and that offer period has already ended. No additional benefits will be lost as a result of this service discontinuation. The token itself remains on the blockchain.
